Share Milky Mist Dairy Food has raised ₹465.29 crore from anchor investors ahead of its ₹1,553-crore initial public offering, marking a strong institutional response before the company’s public market debut. The company allotted 3,32,35,713 equity shares to 19 anchor investors at ₹140 per share, the upper end of its IPO price band. The anchor bidding concluded on August 10, ahead of the IPO opening for public subscription on August 11, 2026. The anchor book attracted a mix of domestic and international institutional investors. Among the prominent participants were Zulia Investments PTE Ltd, a subsidiary of Temasek, and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), along with several leading Indian mutual fund houses. Nine domestic mutual funds through 13 schemes received approximately 46.27% of the total anchor allocation, highlighting significant institutional interest in the dairy company’s growth prospects. Milky Mist’s IPO has a total issue size of ₹1,553 crore, comprising a fresh issue of up to ₹1,428 crore and an offer for sale of up to ₹125 crore by promoters Sathishkumar T and Anitha S. The IPO price band has been fixed at ₹133–₹140 per share, with the public issue scheduled to remain open until August 13. The company operates across a broad portfolio of dairy categories including paneer, cheese, curd, butter, ghee, yogurt and ice cream. Its strong presence in packaged dairy products has helped it establish a significant position in India’s organised dairy market. The company is also looking to expand its geographic footprint, with a large share of its current revenue coming from South India. The successful anchor round comes at an important stage in Milky Mist’s growth journey.
