Lumax Industries has appointed Parul Pruthi as Head of HR – Global R&D at its Engineering Centre, adding an experienced human resources leader to support its engineering and research and development operations.

Pruthi announced the appointment on LinkedIn, sharing that she would work closely with the leadership team to strengthen the company’s global engineering capabilities. Her priorities include developing talent, building leadership pipelines, improving collaboration across geographies and fostering an environment that supports innovation.

The appointment follows her recent tenure as Chief Human Resources Officer at Revolt Motors and a nearly 11-year stint with Marelli India Technical R&D Centre.

From Revolt Motors to Lumax Industries

Pruthi most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Revolt Motors from June 2025 to October 2026. The role placed her at the helm of the company’s HR function before her move to Lumax Industries.

Her latest appointment brings her experience into an engineering-centred environment, where people strategy and talent development are important to supporting specialised technical teams and research capabilities.

In announcing the move, Pruthi acknowledged Raju Ketkale, Colonel Tarun Vohra, C S Singh and Dinesh Kumar Kalra for their trust and the opportunity to join Lumax World.

Nearly 11 Years in HR Leadership at Marelli

A significant part of Pruthi’s career was spent at Marelli India Technical R&D Centre, where she served as Head of Human Resources from September 2014 to June 2025.

Her long tenure at the technical R&D organisation provided extensive experience in an environment centred on engineering and technology. This background is particularly relevant to her new position at Lumax Industries, where her responsibilities will support the company’s global R&D and engineering agenda.

Her career progression from leading HR at a technical R&D centre to serving as CHRO at Revolt Motors reflects experience across automotive and engineering-related organisations.

Talent and Leadership Development at the Core

In her new role, Pruthi has identified talent development and leadership pipeline building as key priorities. Developing leadership capabilities can help organisations prepare employees for expanded responsibilities while supporting continuity across specialised teams.

Her focus also includes strengthening collaboration across geographies. For organisations with global engineering ambitions, coordination between teams in different locations can be important to knowledge-sharing, execution and innovation.

Building a culture of innovation is another stated priority, linking people practices with the working environment needed to support research and development.

Lumax Industries has not announced a detailed programme of new HR initiatives alongside the appointment. Pruthi’s publicly stated focus areas, however, indicate an emphasis on talent, leadership, cross-geography collaboration and workplace culture.

Supporting Lumax Industries’ Global R&D Ambitions

Pruthi’s appointment places an HR leader with substantial experience in technical R&D and automotive-related businesses within Lumax Industries’ Engineering Centre.

Her background at Marelli India Technical R&D Centre, followed by her CHRO role at Revolt Motors, provides experience across different organisational settings. At Lumax Industries, she will bring that experience to a role focused on people and leadership capabilities supporting global engineering and R&D.

The appointment marks the next stage of Pruthi’s HR leadership career, with talent development, leadership readiness and collaboration forming central themes of her new mandate.
