Share IndiaMART InterMESH has unveiled an ambitious five-year growth roadmap, targeting a doubling of its business by leveraging artificial intelligence, strengthening trust across its marketplace, accelerating MSME digitisation, and expanding transaction financing capabilities. Speaking about the company’s long-term vision, Founder and CEO Dinesh Agarwal said IndiaMART aims to achieve consistent double-digit annual growth, enabling revenues, profits, buyer numbers, and supplier numbers to double over the next three to five years. The strategy follows a strong start to FY27, with the company reporting double-digit growth in both revenue and profitability during the first quarter. Artificial intelligence has emerged as a key pillar of IndiaMART’s growth strategy. The company is integrating AI across catalogue management, buyer interactions, voice analytics, search optimisation, and content aggregation to improve discovery and enhance user experience. AI is also being deployed to strengthen trust by supporting seller verification, improving search accuracy, and helping detect fraudulent listings more efficiently. IndiaMART is also strengthening its MSME ecosystem through transaction financing. The company has established a wholly owned subsidiary to facilitate working capital solutions for businesses on its platform, clarifying that the initiative is intended to improve marketplace efficiency rather than build a lending business. With approximately 8.8 million suppliers already listed and over 2.18 lakh paying subscribers, the platform sees significant opportunities to improve monetisation through service enhancements while increasing supplier retention. As India’s largest B2B marketplace continues to invest in AI, digital trust, and financial enablement, IndiaMART aims to deepen its role in supporting MSMEs and strengthening the country’s digital commerce ecosystem. By combining technology-driven innovation with a trusted marketplace experience, the company is positioning itself for its next phase of sustainable growth.
