Adani Group Denies Plans to Launch Airline Amid Market Speculation

Adani Group has officially denied reports suggesting it is planning to launch a commercial airline in India, clarifying that it has no intentions of entering the airline business at this stage.

The clarification comes after media reports indicated that the conglomerate was exploring options to establish a new airline or acquire a stake in an existing carrier. In response, Adani Enterprises issued a statement calling the reports “entirely baseless and factually incorrect,” adding that the company is not evaluating any proposal to enter the airline industry.

Through Adani Airports, the group operates several airports across the country and has made significant investments in developing Navi Mumbai International Airport. These developments had led to market expectations that the company could eventually expand into airline operations.
