Share Wagh Bakri Tea Group has appointed Tushar Tripathi as its Chief Executive Officer, marking a key leadership transition as the company prepares for its next phase of growth. Tripathi, a long-time insider, has been associated with the group for over 17 years and most recently served as Chief Operating Officer. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in strengthening manufacturing capabilities, optimising supply chain operations, and driving efficiency across the tea and beverage business. With over three decades of experience, Tripathi brings deep expertise in manufacturing operations, procurement, vendor management, production planning, and quality assurance. His leadership has also extended to managing profit and loss responsibilities and overseeing large-scale operational functions. Before joining Wagh Bakri, Tripathi worked with leading organisations including PepsiCo India and Pfizer, where he held key roles in manufacturing and operations. His early career also included experience in engineering services and trainee positions, building a strong technical foundation. He has further strengthened his expertise through management development programmes in logistics and project management from premier institutes such as the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta. Wagh Bakri said Tripathi’s elevation reflects its focus on continuity and operational excellence. As CEO, he is expected to drive strategic growth, innovation, and long-term value creation, while further strengthening the company’s position in India’s competitive tea market.
