The Times Group has appointed Poulami Mukhopadhyay as Associate Vice President – Revenue, Sports, strengthening its sports business as it focuses on scaling monetisation and brand partnerships.

In her new role, Mukhopadhyay will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building sports partnerships, and developing brand-led integrations within the sports ecosystem. Her mandate includes shaping monetisation strategies across sports properties and enhancing engagement with advertisers and partners.

She brings over 14 years of experience across media, broadcast, and content strategy. Most recently, she was associated with Rezolve AI, where she worked on AI-led content and brand strategy. She has also been involved with We The Women as Director, contributing to content and platform-led initiatives.

Mukhopadhyay spent over six years at Disney Star, where she held key roles including Brand Solutions Lead – Product, Revenue and Strategy (Cricket). During her tenure, she worked extensively on brand integrations, campaign execution, and live sports production across marquee events such as the IPL and ICC tournaments.

Prior to that, she worked with Times Network, leading branded content initiatives and covering business news as part of ET NOW. She began her career at NDTV, where she contributed to business news production and technology-focused programming.

Her appointment comes at a time when media companies are increasingly focusing on sports as a high-growth segment, with monetisation strategies evolving through integrated brand solutions, digital engagement, and content-led partnerships.

With her diverse experience across editorial, production, and revenue functions, Mukhopadhyay is expected to play a key role in strengthening The Times Group’s sports business and driving growth through innovative revenue models.
