ServiceNow has appointed Srikanth Akkiraju as Chief Transformation Officer, strengthening its leadership team to support enterprises navigating large-scale, AI-driven transformation.

In his new role, Akkiraju will work closely with Fortune 500 organisations to lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. His mandate includes helping businesses redesign operating models, integrate artificial intelligence and automation into core processes, and enable more efficient, data-driven decision-making. The role reflects a broader shift as companies move beyond digital adoption toward full-scale operational reinvention.

Akkiraju brings extensive experience in enterprise IT, digital transformation, and global technology leadership. He joins from Philips, where he held several senior roles, including Global Chief Information Officer for the commercial business and Global Chief Digital and Information Officer for the Healthcare Informatics division. During his tenure, he led large transformation programmes such as SAP S/4HANA deployments, AI-driven initiatives, and enterprise-wide technology modernisation across global markets. His responsibilities also included managing global teams and overseeing profit and loss functions, combining strategic and operational leadership.

Prior to Philips, he worked at Accenture, focusing on IT strategy, infrastructure, and security, where he led complex transformation and compliance programmes for global clients. Earlier in his career, he built foundational expertise in technology and data systems through roles at academic and research institutions.

He holds an Executive MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and a Master’s degree in Wireless Communications from University of Leeds, reflecting a strong blend of technical and business acumen.

The appointment comes at a time when ServiceNow is deepening its focus on AI-driven workflows and automation to support enterprise transformation. Its platform is designed to unify business processes, enhance customer and employee experiences, and improve operational agility.

With Akkiraju’s addition, the company aims to strengthen its ability to guide organisations through complex, multi-year transformation journeys in an increasingly AI-first business environment, where integrating technology with strategy is becoming a critical differentiator.
