Share Samsung India is set to train 20,000 young people in artificial intelligence across 10 Indian states under the 2026 edition of its Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) programme. The initiative is part of Samsung’s broader efforts to strengthen India’s future technology talent pipeline and expand access to industry-relevant AI education. The 2026 edition of Samsung Innovation Campus will be implemented in collaboration with the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) and the Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC). Through these partnerships, Samsung aims to reach young people across 10 states and provide them with skills that are increasingly relevant to India’s digital economy. The programme is targeted at young people between the ages of 18 and 25. Participants will receive hands-on training in artificial intelligence, along with project-based learning, mentorship and exposure to real-world applications. The programme is designed not only to build technical knowledge but also to develop problem-solving, critical thinking and collaboration skills. Samsung said the initiative is aimed at making AI education more accessible and helping young Indians develop the knowledge, confidence and practical experience required to participate in the country’s growing technology ecosystem. The programme comes as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly important across sectors including manufacturing, healthcare, finance, education and telecommunications. Building a workforce with practical AI capabilities is therefore emerging as a key priority for businesses and policymakers. Now in its fourth year in India, Samsung Innovation Campus reflects the company’s continued focus on technology education and workforce development. The company is also celebrating 30 years of operations in India and has positioned talent development as an important part of its long-term commitment to the country’s innovation ecosystem. By training 20,000 young people across 10 states, Samsung aims to contribute to the development of a larger pool of AI-ready talent while supporting India’s ambition to strengthen its position as a global hub for artificial intelligence and innovation.
