Newgen Software Technologies has appointed Tarun Nandwani as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership transition as the company enters its next phase of global growth. Effective August 1, 2026, Nandwani takes over from Virender Jeet after serving as Chief Operating Officer since 2021. A Newgen veteran with more than three decades of experience, he has been instrumental in shaping the company’s enterprise software portfolio, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding its presence across international markets.

Nandwani joined Newgen in 1993 as a software engineer and has grown with the organisation through several leadership roles. During his tenure, he contributed to the development of the company’s core technology platforms and played a key role in building strategic business verticals, including trade finance, lending, insurance policy administration, and loan management solutions. As Chief Operating Officer, he helped drive one of the strongest growth phases in Newgen’s history, delivering significant improvements in revenue, profitability, customer acquisition, and global market expansion.

As part of the leadership restructuring, Newgen has also created the role of Chief Growth Officer and appointed Pramod Kumar to lead global growth strategy, strategic partnerships, customer acquisition, and international expansion. The strengthened leadership team reflects the company’s focus on scaling its AI-powered enterprise software platform and supporting organisations as they embrace intelligent automation and digital transformation.

In his new role as CEO, Tarun Nandwani will lead Newgen’s global strategy, innovation roadmap, and operational execution. With artificial intelligence becoming central to enterprise transformation, the company aims to help businesses orchestrate processes, content, communications, data, and AI through a unified platform. The leadership transition underscores Newgen’s commitment to long-term innovation, customer success, and sustained global growth in the rapidly evolving enterprise technology landscape.
