Chanel has announced the appointment of Hélène de Tissot as its next Chief Financial Officer, effective January 2027. She will succeed Philippe Blondiaux, who will retire after more than a decade as the luxury fashion house’s CFO. The leadership transition reflects Chanel’s long-term succession planning as the company continues to strengthen its global leadership team and support its future growth ambitions.

Hélène de Tissot joins Chanel from Pernod Ricard, where she serves as Executive Vice President – Finance, IT & Operations. With more than 30 years of international leadership experience, she has built extensive expertise across finance, strategic planning, digital transformation, operations, and corporate governance. Her experience leading complex global businesses is expected to play a key role in supporting Chanel’s continued expansion and long-term value creation.

As Chief Financial Officer, De Tissot will oversee Chanel’s global financial strategy, capital allocation, governance, and operational performance. She will work closely with the executive leadership team to support investments in innovation, sustainability, digital capabilities, and the preservation of the brand’s renowned craftsmanship. Her appointment comes as luxury brands continue to adapt to evolving consumer expectations while balancing long-term investments with financial discipline.

The appointment reinforces Chanel’s commitment to strong leadership and strategic continuity.
