Share Temple, the health-tech startup founded by Deepinder Goyal, is seeking a valuation of around $500 million in its upcoming funding round as it prepares to launch its first premium wearable device. The startup’s debut product is expected to be priced at approximately ₹80,000, positioning it firmly in the premium health technology segment. Earlier this year, Temple raised $54 million at a valuation of approximately $190 million from investors including Peak XV Partners, Steadview Capital, Dharana Capital, Info Edge Ventures, and several prominent angel investors. Ahead of the new funding round, the company has also launched a partial employee stock option (ESOP) buyback at a valuation of $375 million, reflecting growing investor confidence in its long-term prospects. Unlike conventional smartwatches, Temple’s first product is designed as a premium wearable focused on providing deeper physiological insights through sensors positioned near the temple. According to the company, the device measures advanced health indicators related to the body’s metabolic and physiological state, targeting consumers seeking high-end health monitoring solutions. The wearable is expected to begin shipping soon as Temple accelerates its commercial rollout. The planned funding round will support product development, manufacturing, technology expansion, and business growth as the company enters the competitive health-tech market. With its premium positioning and ambitious fundraising plans, Temple aims to establish itself as a differentiated player in the rapidly evolving wearable technology ecosystem.
