Share Acko has promoted Trisha Agarwal to Associate Director – Talent Acquisition, marking another milestone in her talent acquisition career spanning more than 12 years. The elevation follows her role as Deputy General Manager at Acko, where she played a key role in strengthening hiring strategy, leadership recruitment, talent operations and workforce scaling initiatives across the organisation. In her expanded role, Agarwal is expected to continue driving talent acquisition strategies, leadership hiring and recruitment transformation efforts as Acko scales its operations and strengthens its workforce capabilities. She brings extensive experience across fintech, consulting and technology-driven organisations, with expertise in end-to-end staffing, niche hiring, leadership recruitment, employer branding and workforce planning. Before joining Acko, Agarwal spent more than five years at Freo, where she led talent acquisition across engineering, data, product and leadership hiring functions. During her tenure at Freo, she also contributed to employer branding and HR policy initiatives while helping the company scale rapidly during a high-growth phase. Her achievements included expanding headcount significantly, reducing agency hiring costs, strengthening referral and campus hiring programmes, and supporting CXO and leadership hiring mandates. She additionally managed recruitment metrics focused on quality of hire, diversity, joining ratios and hiring efficiency while contributing to broader people and policy initiatives. Earlier in her career, Agarwal worked with EY as Lead Recruiter, where she handled hiring across areas including finance, data science and analytics. During her time there, she supported large-scale recruitment drives and niche hiring programmes while contributing to the rapid expansion of specialised technology teams. She began her professional journey at MeritTrac Services, where she worked on recruitment operations, candidate assessments and hiring coordination. Her elevation at Acko reflects the increasing strategic importance of talent acquisition leadership within fast-growing fintech and digital-first businesses, particularly as organisations compete aggressively for specialised technology and product talent. As companies continue investing in workforce capability, leadership hiring and employer branding, talent acquisition leaders are playing an increasingly critical role in supporting long-term organisational growth and business transformation.
