Share Brinton Pharmaceuticals has appointed Sathya Narayanan as Chief Executive Officer for its India Cluster and Japan Asia Pacific region, strengthening its leadership team as the company accelerates expansion across dermatology and specialty healthcare markets. In his new role, Narayanan will oversee operations and growth initiatives across India and the broader JPAC region, which the company considers central to its long-term growth strategy. The appointment comes as Brinton Pharmaceuticals continues investing in research-driven healthcare products, prescription therapies and advanced pharmaceutical formulations amid increasing competition across India’s healthcare and dermatology sectors. Narayanan brings more than 20 years of experience across pharmaceuticals, dermatology-focused healthcare businesses and commercial leadership functions. Before joining Brinton Pharmaceuticals, he served as Managing Director at Galderma India and Emcutix, where he played a key role in expanding regional operations and strengthening dermatology-focused healthcare portfolios across South Asia. During his tenure, the organisation expanded access to specialised dermatology therapies while building scientific collaborations and medical initiatives aimed at improving treatment standards and healthcare outcomes. Apart from his corporate leadership experience, Narayanan has also served on the Executive Committee of the Organization of Pharmaceutical Producers of India, where he contributed to initiatives related to medical affairs, regulatory strategy and legal frameworks within the pharmaceutical sector. His experience across medical, commercial and regulatory functions is expected to support Brinton Pharmaceuticals’ efforts to scale operations and strengthen its market position across multiple healthcare categories. The company said Narayanan’s appointment aligns with its broader strategy of expanding science-led healthcare solutions and strengthening its presence across high-growth Asian markets. Speaking about the appointment, company leadership highlighted the growing importance of India and neighbouring markets within Brinton Pharmaceuticals’ long-term expansion plans, particularly in areas such as dermatology therapies, prescription healthcare and healthcare innovation. Narayanan also described the company’s innovation-focused approach and regional ambitions as key factors behind his decision to join the organisation, while pointing to the growing opportunity to improve healthcare access and deliver differentiated therapies across emerging markets. His appointment reflects a wider trend in the pharmaceutical industry, where companies are increasingly strengthening leadership teams to drive regional growth, regulatory capability and innovation-led healthcare expansion.
