Share Zaggle Prepaid Ocean Services has announced a strategic investment of up to ₹7.96 crore in Unobanc Private Limited, acquiring a 19.9% equity stake to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing cross-border payments and remittances market. Unobanc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hop Financial Solutions, operates under the moneyHOP brand and provides technology infrastructure for digital cross-border payments and remittances in India. The investment will be completed in one or more tranches within the next 90 days, subject to the execution of definitive agreements and regulatory approvals. The acquisition aligns with Zaggle’s long-term strategy of building a comprehensive fintech ecosystem by expanding beyond spend management and corporate payments into digital banking and foreign exchange solutions. Through this partnership, Zaggle aims to integrate its corporate expense management capabilities with Unobanc’s cross-border banking infrastructure, enabling seamless financial services for businesses and consumers. The collaboration is expected to create opportunities for cross-selling banking, payments, forex, and expense management solutions while enhancing the overall customer experience. As businesses increasingly seek integrated financial platforms, the partnership positions Zaggle to address growing demand for embedded financial services and cross-border payment solutions. The investment also reflects the broader trend of convergence between fintech platforms and digital banking providers, as companies look to diversify their product portfolios and strengthen their competitive positioning. With this strategic move, Zaggle is set to expand its presence in India’s evolving financial services landscape while accelerating innovation in digital payments and global remittance solutions.
