Niva Bupa Health Insurance has announced the elevation of Priyanka Sharma to the position of Senior Vice President & Head – Talent Management, HRBP & Sustainability, reinforcing the company’s focus on building a strong people-first culture while advancing its sustainability priorities.

Sharma has been associated with Niva Bupa since December 2021 and has steadily expanded her responsibilities across talent management, leadership development, organizational development, HR business partnering, and sustainability. Over the years, she has contributed significantly to strengthening leadership capabilities, enhancing employee engagement, and aligning people strategies with business objectives.

With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, Sharma brings deep expertise in talent assessment, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, change management, employee engagement, and learning solutions. Her career has spanned diverse industries, enabling her to develop a well-rounded perspective on building high-performing organizations.

Before joining Niva Bupa, Sharma spent nearly six years with Schneider Electric, where she held several leadership roles, including Global Talent Partner and Senior HRBP. During her tenure, she worked across talent management, learning and development, organization development, and multi-country HR business partnering assignments. Earlier in her career, she also worked with Amway India and Right Management, gaining valuable experience in leadership and talent development initiatives.

In her new role, Sharma will be responsible for advancing Niva Bupa’s talent strategy, strengthening leadership pipelines, enhancing organizational capabilities, and supporting the company’s sustainability agenda. Her appointment reflects the insurer’s commitment to nurturing future-ready talent and fostering a workplace culture that supports innovation, growth, and long-term business success.
