Haleon has appointed Vandana Chamaria as Head – Oral Health, India & South Asia, bringing an experienced consumer and marketing leader into a role focused on expanding the company’s oral health business across the region.

Chamaria took up the position in September 2026. Her mandate includes driving business growth, increasing category penetration, developing the portfolio and strengthening Haleon’s omnichannel approach across India and South Asia.

The appointment marks a return to the consumer health space for Chamaria, whose career has included leadership roles across technology, mobility, food and beverage and consumer businesses.

Returning to Consumer Health with a New Mandate

Chamaria described the move as a return to a sector that played an important role in the early part of her career, while bringing a significantly broader leadership perspective to her new role.

Before joining Haleon, she worked as a Fractional Chief Marketing Officer from November 2025 to August 2026, advising consumer businesses across brand strategy, product and innovation marketing, digital commerce and retail marketing.

Her recent consulting experience adds to a career that has consistently combined consumer understanding with brand building, commercial growth and digital transformation.

From Blue Tokai to Global Marketing Leadership

Immediately before her fractional CMO role, Chamaria served as Chief Marketing Officer at Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters, a position she held from September 2024 to November 2025.

At Blue Tokai, she was responsible for marketing across the coffee brand and its sister businesses. Her remit covered customer insights, product innovation, store activations, brand partnerships and digital and social marketing.

She also oversaw the digital business across the company’s direct-to-consumer website, marketplaces and quick-commerce channels, adding hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving consumer commerce ecosystem.

Experience Across Google and Hero MotoCorp

A significant part of Chamaria’s corporate career was spent at Google, where she held marketing leadership positions between 2018 and 2023.

She initially served as Head of Ads Business Marketing before taking on the expanded position of Head of Corporate Brand & Reputation and Ads Business Marketing in 2021. Her experience at Google brought together business marketing, corporate reputation and brand leadership within a global technology environment.

Earlier, Chamaria was with Hero MotoCorp, serving as General Manager & Head of Marketing, Corporate Brand & Motorcycles Portfolio. Her role involved marketing leadership across corporate brand and the company’s motorcycle portfolio.

Her broader career also includes experience with Yum! Brands, including leadership responsibilities across Pizza Hut and Taco Bell India.

Early Career in Consumer Health

Chamaria’s move to Haleon also reconnects with an earlier phase of her career in consumer health and related businesses.

She began her professional journey with organisations including GSK Consumer Healthcare, Dumex and Ranbaxy Laboratories, gaining early experience in brand and category marketing.

That foundation, combined with subsequent leadership roles across technology, automotive and consumer businesses, has given her exposure to multiple dimensions of marketing — from traditional brand building and consumer insights to digital commerce, innovation and omnichannel growth.

Boardroom Experience Adds Another Dimension

Alongside her executive career, Chamaria has also developed experience in corporate governance.

She has served as an Independent Director and Board Member at Aptech since August 2024 and chairs the company’s CSR Committee.

She has also been an Independent Director and Board Member at Sahyadri Farms Post Harvest Care since May 2023, where she serves on the Audit Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

These board roles have added exposure to governance, business oversight and strategic decision-making beyond her core marketing responsibilities.

A Growth-Focused Role at Haleon

At Haleon, Chamaria’s new mandate brings together several themes that have shaped her career: consumer understanding, brand strategy, portfolio development, innovation, digital growth and commercial execution.

Her focus on oral health across India and South Asia comes at the intersection of consumer health and category development, with responsibilities spanning both business expansion and omnichannel engagement.

With experience across global technology, consumer brands, mobility and digital-first businesses, Chamaria now takes on a leadership role within Haleon’s oral health portfolio, marking the latest step in a career built around understanding consumers and translating those insights into business and brand growth.
