BMW Industries Appoints Rajat Kulshrestha as Chief Business Officer – Coated Business

BMW Industries has announced the appointment of Rajat Kulshrestha as Chief Business Officer for its Coated Business, reinforcing its leadership team as the company looks to strengthen its presence in the value-added steel products market.

Kulshrestha brings close to 30 years of experience in the steel and building materials industry, with a strong background in sales, marketing, business development, and commercial leadership. Throughout his career, he has worked with some of the sector’s leading organizations, helping drive market expansion, customer engagement, and revenue growth.

Before joining BMW Industries, he held senior leadership positions at APL Apollo Building Products, Manaksia Coated, Tata BlueScope Steel, and JSW Steel. He also gained valuable industry experience through earlier roles at Bhushan Steel & Strips and Lloyds Steel Industries.

As Chief Business Officer, Kulshrestha will lead initiatives aimed at expanding the company’s coated and value-added steel business, strengthening customer relationships, improving market penetration, and supporting geographic and capacity expansion plans. His mandate will also include driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer-centric business strategies.
