Onida Appoints Neelam Sanguri as Chief People Officer

Onida has appointed Neelam Sanguri as its Chief People Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues its transformation journey and prepares for its next phase of growth in India’s consumer electronics market.

Based in Mumbai, Sanguri will lead Onida’s people strategy, talent agenda, leadership development, and organizational transformation initiatives. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, she will play a key role in shaping the company’s workforce strategy and building a high-performance culture aligned with Onida’s long-term business objectives.

Sanguri joins Onida with more than 16 years of leadership experience across consumer durables, technology, edtech, and financial services. Most recently, she served as Chief People Officer and Chief Customer Officer at Credilio Financial Technologies, where she helped build and scale the company’s people function while supporting business expansion.

Earlier in her career, she served as Director – Talent Transformation at EZScholar Edutech and spent nearly seven years at BSH Household Appliances Manufacturing, leading initiatives across learning and development, employee engagement, leadership development, internal communications, and organizational culture. She has also held HR leadership positions at HCL Technologies and Altisource Business Solutions, gaining extensive experience in talent strategy, organizational development, and workforce transformation.

Her appointment reflects Onida’s continued investment in strengthening its leadership capabilities and building a people-first organization. As the company continues to modernize its operations and expand its presence in the consumer durables market, talent, culture, and leadership development are expected to play a central role in supporting sustainable growth.
