As Senior Partner, Mattsson will continue serving as Global Co-Leader of Separations & Spin-offs while leading McKinsey’s Strategy & Corporate Finance Practice in Switzerland. She advises organizations on corporate strategy, large-scale transformations, mergers and acquisitions, and value creation initiatives, helping global businesses navigate complex change and accelerate growth. Mattsson brings more than 20 years of experience in M&A and corporate finance, having advised on over 150 transactions ranging from $200 million to $50 billion. Her expertise spans strategy, integrations, separations, carve-outs, and organizational transformation across industries including life sciences, consumer goods, and chemicals. Before joining McKinsey, she spent more than 14 years at Deloitte Switzerland, where she held several senior leadership positions, including Global Managing Partner – Integrations & Separations, Managing Partner – Talent, and Global Financial Advisory Head of Post Merger Integration. She later served as Operating Advisory Partner at Gyrus Capital before joining McKinsey. Beyond her consulting career, Mattsson is widely recognized for her commitment to inclusive leadership. She currently serves as President of Advance – Gender Equality in Business, an organization dedicated to promoting gender equality and leadership development across Switzerland’s business community. Her career reflects a unique blend of strategic transformation expertise and a strong focus on talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness.
