Share Workday has appointed John Lombard as President, Asia Pacific, reinforcing its regional leadership team as the enterprise AI platform provider continues to expand across one of the world’s fastest-growing technology markets. In his new role, Lombard will oversee Workday’s go-to-market strategy, commercial operations, and regional expansion initiatives across Asia Pacific. He will also focus on strengthening the company’s partner ecosystem while helping organizations leverage Workday’s AI-powered platform to improve workforce experiences, financial management, and operational efficiency. Lombard joins Workday with more than three decades of leadership experience in technology and consulting. Most recently, he served as Asia Pacific CEO at NTT DATA, where he led the company’s regional business for ten years. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at SAP, KPMG Australia, and Crowe Howarth, building deep expertise in enterprise technology, digital transformation, and business strategy. Commenting on his appointment, Lombard described Asia Pacific as a global hub for innovation and emphasized the growing opportunity for businesses to leverage AI for competitive advantage. He said he looks forward to strengthening customer relationships and supporting organizations in their digital transformation journeys.
