Mahyco has announced the appointment of Ashish Jehurkar as its Head of Human Resources, strengthening its leadership team with an experienced HR professional known for driving people transformation and organizational growth.

Jehurkar joins the agricultural biotechnology company with more than 25 years of experience across talent management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and workforce transformation. His appointment reflects Mahyco’s commitment to building a strong people-centric culture while supporting the company’s long-term growth objectives.

Before joining Mahyco, Jehurkar concluded an almost 26-year tenure at Sterlite Technologies, where he held several senior HR leadership roles, including Head of HR for India and China and Business HR Head. Throughout his career, he has led strategic workforce planning, talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership capability building, compensation transformation, and HR analytics initiatives.

He is also recognized for driving organizational change programs, implementing technology-enabled HR solutions, and contributing to employee experience and workplace culture initiatives. His work helped strengthen leadership pipelines and support large-scale business transformation efforts across multiple geographies.

At Mahyco, Jehurkar will oversee the company’s human resources strategy, focusing on talent development, culture building, leadership effectiveness, employee engagement, and organizational capability enhancement. His extensive experience is expected to support Mahyco’s efforts to foster innovation, strengthen workforce capabilities, and drive sustainable growth.
