Arvind Fashions Limited has appointed Lakshmi Krishnan as Chief Human Resources Officer, strengthening its senior leadership team as the company focuses on organisational transformation, leadership capability and future-ready workforce development.

The appointment comes at a significant stage in the company’s growth journey as it continues expanding its portfolio of global and premium fashion brands across India.

Global HR leader joins Arvind Fashions

Krishnan brings more than 25 years of experience across human resources leadership, organisational transformation and talent strategy, with experience spanning India, Southeast Asia and the United Kingdom.

Before joining Arvind Fashions, she spent over 14 years with Unilever across several global HR leadership roles.

Most recently, she served as Head of HR for Corporate Functions at Unilever’s global headquarters in London, where she partnered with senior leadership teams across:

• Finance
• Legal
• Communications
• Sustainability

The role involved supporting a global workforce of more than 7,000 employees while driving transformation, capability building and organisational effectiveness initiatives.

Leadership experience across global markets

Prior to her London-based assignment, Krishnan led HR for Global Procurement in Singapore and managed HR responsibilities for Asia Supply Chain operations across APAC markets.

Throughout her tenure at Unilever, she worked on:

• Leadership development
• Inclusion and diversity initiatives
• Performance transformation
• Capability building
• Large-scale people and culture programs

Her career also includes experience across financial services, technology and consulting sectors through previous roles at:

• Lehman Brothers
• Cognizant
• Apt Talent Partners
• Bedrock HR

These assignments helped build expertise in leadership strategy, organisational effectiveness and people transformation across diverse business environments.
