Apollo Tyres has appointed Mayank Jauhari as Group Head HR, strengthening its global people leadership as the company focuses on rewards, performance management and HR transformation. Jauhari will take responsibility for key areas of the company’s global HR agenda, including rewards, mobility, performance processes and HR technology.

In his new role, Jauhari will lead Apollo Tyres’ global rewards architecture and mobility programmes while overseeing performance processes and the company’s HR technology agenda. He will also contribute to the HR operating model and transformation strategy, bringing greater integration across different areas of the people function.

Jauhari joins Apollo Tyres after nearly a decade with A.P. Moller-Maersk, where he held senior responsibilities across HR and rewards. His experience includes working on large-scale HR transformation, rewards systems and people strategies across complex global organisations.

At Apollo Tyres, his mandate will extend across business functions, including commercial operations and the global supply chain. The focus will be on building workforce capabilities that are closely aligned with business growth while creating greater consistency across the company’s global HR framework.

Jauhari’s appointment comes as organisations increasingly use rewards, performance management and HR technology as strategic tools for workforce transformation. His expanded mandate brings these areas together under a broader people strategy, supporting Apollo Tyres’ focus on building an integrated and business-aligned HR model.
