Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) has appointed Pramath Nath as its Chief People Officer, effective July 1, 2026. The appointment comes as part of an organizational restructuring, with Nath succeeding Samir Prakash, who stepped down from the role on the same date.

As Chief People Officer, Nath will lead the company’s human resources function, overseeing talent strategy, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, culture, governance, and workforce transformation. His mandate will be to strengthen AESL’s people capabilities while supporting the company’s expansion and long-term business objectives.

Nath joins the role with nearly three decades of HR leadership experience across multiple industries, including energy, consulting, technology, retail, hospitality, and pharmaceuticals. He has been part of the Adani Group since October 2022, most recently serving as Chief People Officer at Adani Green Energy, where he played a key role in shaping the company’s people strategy and organizational capabilities.

Prior to joining the Adani Group, Nath held several senior leadership positions, including CHRO – Asia Pacific & India (Steam Power) at GE Power, Executive Director – HR at KPMG, and leadership roles at Hewlett-Packard, Reliance Retail, and The Oberoi Group. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale initiatives in organizational transformation, leadership development, culture building, stakeholder engagement, governance, and change management.

Nath holds an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), an LL.B. from Delhi University, and a Bachelor’s degree from Ramjas College, Delhi University. He is also a certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), a Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

With Pramath Nath taking charge as Chief People Officer, Adani Energy Solutions aims to strengthen its leadership pipeline, build a future-ready workforce, and further align its people strategy with the company’s ambitious growth plans in India’s energy and infrastructure sector.
