Share Zoom Communications has appointed Carlos Quaderi as Head of Asia Pacific (APAC), effective August 1, 2026, as the company accelerates its AI-powered growth strategy across one of its most important global markets. Reporting to Graeme Geddes, Chief Sales and Growth Officer, Quaderi will lead Zoom’s commercial strategy across Australia & New Zealand, Asia, India, and Korea, excluding Japan. His expanded responsibilities include driving growth across the customer experience (CX) business, the small and medium-sized business (SMB) segment, and the company’s partner ecosystem, while helping organisations unlock greater value from Zoom’s AI-powered collaboration platform. Quaderi brings more than three decades of experience in enterprise technology and digital transformation. Prior to this appointment, he served as Zoom’s Head of Asia, where he led regional strategy, sales execution, and go-to-market initiatives across Southeast Asia, Hong Kong SAR, and Taiwan. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at Workday, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Microsoft, leading enterprise growth and market expansion across Asia Pacific and Japan. The appointment comes as businesses across Asia Pacific increasingly adopt AI-powered workplace platforms that streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and improve customer engagement. Zoom said APAC remains a strategic growth region, and expanding Quaderi’s leadership reflects the company’s continued investment in helping organisations accelerate productivity through AI-enabled solutions. Based in Singapore, Quaderi will continue overseeing Zoom’s Asia operations during the transition while working closely with regional and global leadership teams to strengthen customer relationships, expand market reach, and drive the next phase of AI-powered business growth across the wider APAC region.
