Yash Raj Films Appoints Arjun Banerjee to Lead YRF Talent

Yash Raj Films (YRF) has appointed Arjun Banerjee as Head of YRF Talent, reinforcing its commitment to building a world-class talent management business alongside its renowned film production and entertainment operations.

In his new role, Banerjee will lead YRF Talent’s strategic growth and oversee the management of the company’s expanding roster of artists. Reporting directly to Akshaye Widhani, Chief Executive Officer of Yash Raj Films, he will focus on strengthening talent partnerships, identifying new growth opportunities, and expanding YRF’s footprint in the rapidly evolving entertainment and creator economy.

Arjun Banerjee joins YRF with significant experience in talent management, live entertainment, and artist partnerships. Before joining the company, he spent more than three years at Collective Artists Network, where he worked across artist management and strategic partnerships. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade at Exceed Entertainment, holding key leadership roles including Head – Talent & New Ventures and Head – Live Business. During his tenure, he played an instrumental role in managing artist relationships while expanding the company’s live entertainment and talent businesses.

Commenting on the appointment, Akshaye Widhani said that the entertainment landscape is evolving rapidly and requires a management approach that is strategic, entrepreneurial, and collaborative. He added that Banerjee’s industry expertise and strong relationships will help YRF Talent continue creating long-term value for its artists and partners.

YRF Talent currently represents several leading actors, including Rani Mukerji, Ayushmann Khurrana, Sonam Kapoor, Sharvari, Vaani Kapoor, Ahaan Panday, Aneet Padda, and Shreya Chaudhary. Banerjee’s appointment reflects Yash Raj Films’ ambition to further strengthen its talent management vertical and expand its influence within India’s entertainment industry.
