HDFC Pension Management Company Limited has appointed Hetal Javeri-Nandu as its Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), reinforcing its leadership team as the organisation continues to invest in its people strategy and long-term business growth.

In her new role, Javeri-Nandu will lead the company’s human resources function, overseeing talent development, employee engagement, leadership capability, workforce planning, and organisational culture. She will play a key role in aligning HDFC Pension’s people agenda with its long-term business objectives while strengthening leadership and employee experience across the organisation.

Before joining HDFC Pension, Javeri-Nandu served as Vice President – Human Resources at HDFC Life, where she partnered closely with the HDFC Bank relationship business and led a team of HR Business Partners. During her tenure, she focused on aligning HR strategy with business priorities while driving talent management and organisational effectiveness.

Earlier, she spent more than ten years at SBI General Insurance, holding several senior HR leadership positions across corporate and business HR. Her experience spans HR business partnering, talent acquisition, employee engagement, rewards and recognition, performance management, compensation and benefits, HR analytics, talent management, and organisational development. She also contributed to the development of the company’s behavioural competency framework and HR management systems.

Hetal Javeri-Nandu holds a Master of Management Studies (MMS) in Human Resources from K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management and Research and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from HR College, Mumbai.

Her appointment reflects HDFC Pension’s continued focus on building a high-performance, future-ready workforce and strengthening leadership capabilities as the organisation expands its retirement and pension fund management business in India.
