Wipro Appoints Priya Jha Choudhary as CHRO for AI Native Business

Wipro has appointed Priya Jha Choudhary as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for its AI Native Business and Platforms Unit, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its AI-first business strategy.

In her new role, Choudhary will lead the people strategy for one of Wipro’s fastest-growing businesses. She will oversee workforce transformation, talent strategy, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, employee experience, and capability building, ensuring the organization has the leadership, culture, and skills required to support innovation and long-term AI-led growth.

Choudhary brings more than two decades of experience in strategic human resources, organizational transformation, talent management, leadership development, and global HR. Before her elevation, she served as Head of HR for Wipro’s Enterprise Applications Global Service Line, where she led HR strategy for a global workforce of over 35,000 employees and played a key role in integrating acquired businesses across multiple geographies.

Prior to joining Wipro, she spent over nine years at Capgemini in senior HR leadership roles, including Global Head of Talent & Learning for the Cloud Global Business Line. She also founded EQubes Consulting, an HR consulting firm, and earlier worked at KANBAY, building expertise in HR business partnering, organizational consulting, diversity, leadership development, and change management. Choudhary holds an LLM from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), a qualification in Human Resource Management from Northwestern University, and is a Chevening Scholar as well as a Ratan Tata Scholar.

Her appointment reflects Wipro’s continued investment in building AI-ready leadership and future-focused talent capabilities. As the company scales its AI Native Business and Platforms Unit, Choudhary will play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce, culture, and leadership needed to support Wipro’s next phase of AI-driven innovation and growth.
