Her elevation comes as organisations operating at scale continue to place greater emphasis on workforce strategy, employee experience, leadership development and organisational effectiveness.

Nearly two decades of HR leadership experience

Nambiar brings around 20 years of experience in human resources, with a career spanning technology, shared services and operations-led business environments.

At PwC, she has been involved in people leadership and business partnering responsibilities, working closely with stakeholders to align HR priorities with organisational requirements. Her previous position as Deputy Chief People Officer provided her with broad exposure to people strategy and leadership initiatives within the organisation.

Experience across global organisations

Before joining PwC, Nambiar held HR roles at Societe Generale Global Solution Centre and ANZ, where she worked across technology, shared services and operations business partnering functions.

These experiences have given her exposure to diverse workforce environments and the evolving HR requirements of large, globally connected organisations.

Her professional journey has included areas such as business partnering, employee and organisational support, workforce management and strategic HR initiatives.

People strategy gains importance in scaled operations

The appointment comes at a time when global capability centres, technology organisations and shared services businesses are increasingly looking to HR leaders to go beyond traditional people management.

As these organisations expand their workforce and take on more complex global responsibilities, people leaders are playing a larger role in areas including:

  • Workforce planning and capability building
  • Leadership development and succession
  • Employee experience and engagement
  • Organisational effectiveness
  • People transformation
  • Building future-ready talent capabilities

Nambiar’s experience across technology and shared services environments positions her well to contribute to these priorities in her new role.

Strengthening the people agenda

As Chief People Officer, Nambiar is expected to play an important role in shaping and advancing PwC Acceleration Center India’s people agenda while supporting the organisation’s evolving workforce and business priorities.

Her elevation also highlights the growing importance of experienced HR leadership within India’s expanding technology and global delivery ecosystem, where attracting, developing and retaining specialised talent remains a critical business priority.

Nambiar holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration with a specialisation in Human Resources from Indian Business Academy, Bengaluru.

Her appointment marks another senior HR leadership movement within India’s corporate sector and underscores the increasing role of people strategy in enabling organisational growth and transformation.
