Share PepsiCo has promoted Swathi Pasumarti to Director, Total Rewards for its India Business Unit (BU) and Global Capability Centers (GCCs), reinforcing the company’s focus on building a competitive and future-ready rewards strategy. In her expanded role, Pasumarti will lead Total Rewards for PepsiCo’s India business and its GCCs, overseeing compensation, benefits, employee wellbeing, and rewards transformation initiatives. Her mandate includes designing reward programs that enhance employee experience, attract top talent, and support the company’s long-term business objectives. The promotion follows nearly seven years with PepsiCo, during which she played a key role in shaping the company’s rewards strategy. Most recently, she served as Associate Director – Total Rewards, Strategy & Transformation, leading initiatives focused on compensation design, benefits optimization, and organizational transformation. Before joining PepsiCo, Pasumarti built an extensive career in total rewards and compensation consulting. She held leadership roles at Deloitte, where she managed Total Rewards for the Technology and Strategy Consulting businesses, and at Franklin Templeton Investments, where she led rewards strategy across operations and technology teams in India, Poland, and the United States. Earlier, she worked at Mercer, advising organizations on compensation benchmarking, salary surveys, and rewards consulting.
