MobiKwik has appointed Dhruv Wadhera as Chief Business Officer for its Offline Merchant Payments business, reinforcing its leadership team as the company accelerates its expansion in India’s fast-growing digital payments market.

Wadhera joins MobiKwik with more than two decades of experience across fintech, banking, and payments. Throughout his career, he has led business growth, merchant acquisition, strategic partnerships, and payment innovation at leading financial institutions and fintech companies.

Prior to joining MobiKwik, he held senior leadership positions at Pine Labs and PayU, where he played a key role in expanding merchant payment solutions and strengthening business operations. Earlier, he also worked with IndusInd Bank and ICICI Bank, gaining extensive experience in banking, payment ecosystems, and financial services.

As Chief Business Officer for Offline Merchant Payments, Wadhera will lead MobiKwik’s strategy to grow its offline merchant network, strengthen acceptance infrastructure, deepen partnerships with businesses, and drive wider adoption of digital payment solutions. His focus will include expanding merchant engagement while delivering seamless payment experiences for businesses and consumers.

The appointment comes as India’s digital payments ecosystem continues to witness rapid growth, fueled by UPI adoption, QR-based transactions, and increasing acceptance of cashless payments among merchants of all sizes. Fintech companies are investing heavily in leadership, technology, and merchant services to capture the next wave of growth.

With Dhruv Wadhera joining the leadership team, MobiKwik aims to further strengthen its offline payments business and enhance its position as a leading fintech platform serving merchants and consumers across India.
