Hindustan Unilever Appoints Koteshwar LN as CEO of Oziva

Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has appointed Koteshwar LN as the Chief Executive Officer of Oziva, reinforcing its commitment to building a stronger presence in India’s rapidly expanding health and wellness market.

The appointment comes as HUL accelerates its investments in nutrition and preventive wellness following the complete acquisition of Oziva. Alongside leading the plant-based nutrition brand, Koteshwar will also oversee HUL’s broader wellness portfolio, including hydration brand Liquid I.V., reflecting the company’s ambition to create a strong wellness business.

Koteshwar joins HUL with more than two decades of experience across FMCG, beverages, and e-commerce. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and P&L Head for Startups and Digital-First Businesses at Marico, where he managed a portfolio of emerging brands including Beardo, Just Herbs, True Elements, Plix, Pure Sense, and Coco Soul. Prior to Marico, he held leadership roles at Flipkart and The Coca-Cola Company, gaining extensive experience in brand building, business growth, and consumer strategy.

His appointment highlights HUL’s strategic focus on scaling high-growth wellness brands as consumer demand for nutrition, supplements, and preventive healthcare continues to rise. The company has identified wellness as a key growth engine within its Beauty & Wellbeing business and is investing in leadership, innovation, and product expansion to strengthen its market position.

With Koteshwar LN at the helm, Oziva is expected to accelerate its next phase of growth by expanding its product portfolio, strengthening digital and omnichannel presence, and reaching a wider base of health-conscious consumers. The leadership appointment underscores HUL’s long-term commitment to building a differentiated wellness portfolio and capturing opportunities in one of India’s fastest-growing consumer categories.
