Mizuho Global Services has appointed Supriya Wig as Vice President – HR, strengthening its leadership team as global financial institutions continue to prioritise workforce strategy, leadership capability, and employee engagement.

In her new role, Wig will lead strategic HR initiatives focused on workforce planning, organisational growth, leadership development, and employee engagement as the company expands its operations and strengthens its people agenda.

She brings nearly two decades of experience across consulting, banking, financial services, and technology-driven organisations, with expertise spanning talent management, organisational culture, HR transformation, leadership hiring, and employee experience.

Before joining Mizuho Global Services, Wig worked at Deloitte as Talent Business Advisor, where she focused on aligning HR strategy with business objectives, strengthening performance frameworks, and improving organisational effectiveness through people-centric initiatives.

Prior to Deloitte, she spent more than 10 years at NCR Corporation as Senior Manager HR and Culture & Experience Lead. During her tenure, she managed regional talent strategy and development initiatives for over 1,200 employees across the Asia Pacific and Japan region.

Her responsibilities there included leadership development, diversity and inclusion programmes, employee engagement, learning and development, compliance governance, and HR integration during mergers and acquisitions. She also played a key role in driving organisational culture transformation initiatives.

Earlier in her career, Wig worked as HR Business Partner at Beltone, where she advised leadership teams on recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement strategies. She also held HR leadership responsibilities at ENKAY Homes Ltd, focusing on recruitment, organisational development, employee welfare, and compliance management.

She began her corporate career at Citi as a Presentation Specialist, gaining exposure to broader corporate and business operations early in her professional journey.

At Mizuho Global Services, Wig is expected to support the company’s evolving talent and workforce strategy amid increasing competition for skilled professionals across the financial services and global capability centre ecosystem.

Her appointment reflects a wider industry trend where global organisations are strengthening HR leadership functions to build future-ready workforces, improve employee experience, and support long-term business transformation.
