KFC India has appointed Suhayl Limbada as Chief Marketing Officer, effective April 2026, marking a strategic leadership move as the brand looks to strengthen its market position and accelerate growth in India.

In his new role, Limbada will lead the company’s marketing function, focusing on brand strategy, customer engagement, and business expansion across one of the world’s most diverse and dynamic consumer markets.

Limbada joins KFC India after serving as Market Lead and Chief Marketing Officer at KFC Thailand, where he managed a network of over 1,200 restaurants. During his tenure, the business delivered four consecutive years of sales and profit growth, alongside improvements in market share and brand equity.

He is credited with leading a successful turnaround in Thailand by restructuring the marketing function, integrating data-driven insights with creative strategy, and positioning marketing as a key driver of business growth.

Prior to KFC, Limbada held leadership roles at Yum! Brands across African markets, where he worked on multi-country operations and expansion strategies. He also spent time at Mondelēz International, driving category growth and managing large-scale brand portfolios.

At KFC India, Limbada is expected to play a critical role in strengthening brand relevance, deepening consumer engagement, and supporting the company’s expansion strategy in a highly competitive quick-service restaurant landscape.

His appointment comes at a time when consumer expectations are evolving rapidly, with increasing demand for personalised experiences, digital engagement, and faster service models-making marketing leadership central to business growth.
