JLL Opens 1.2 Lakh Sq Ft Global Capability Centre in Hyderabad, Plans 1,600 Hires

JLL has strengthened its India operations with the launch of a new 1.2 lakh sq. ft. Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad’s Financial District. The facility, operated under JLL Business Services (JBS), represents the company’s second GCC in India after Gurugram and will play a key role in supporting JLL’s global operations across technology, finance, research, data analytics, and other business functions. Alongside the launch, the company announced plans to recruit approximately 1,600 professionals over the coming years to support its expanding global delivery capabilities.

The new centre has been designed to enhance operational efficiency while enabling JLL to leverage Hyderabad’s strong talent ecosystem. By bringing together skilled professionals across multiple business domains, the GCC will support innovation, digital transformation, and high-value business services for JLL’s global network. The expansion reflects the company’s long-term commitment to India as a strategic hub for business operations and technology-enabled services.

The announcement also reinforces Hyderabad’s growing stature as one of India’s leading Global Capability Centre destinations. Speaking at the inauguration, Telangana IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu noted that the state has attracted 150 GCCs and generated nearly 1.5 lakh jobs over the past 20 months, driven by a strong technology ecosystem, skilled workforce, and supportive government policies. JLL’s investment further strengthens the city’s position as a preferred destination for multinational enterprises expanding their global operations.

With plans to hire 1,600 professionals, JLL’s expansion is expected to create significant opportunities for talent across technology, analytics, finance, and business services. The move highlights the continued growth of India’s GCC ecosystem, where multinational companies are increasingly investing in large-scale capability centres to drive innovation, improve service delivery, and support global business transformation.
