Amazon has elevated Shaitan Singh Bishnoi to Senior Human Resources Business Partner , marking a significant milestone in his HR leadership journey within the company.

The promotion recognizes Bishnoi’s contributions to advancing Amazon India’s people strategy through workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness. Since joining Amazon in 2024 as HR Business Partner – People Experience Technology, he has worked closely with business leaders to strengthen employee experience and build high-performing teams.

In his expanded role, Bishnoi will continue partnering with senior leadership to shape HR strategy, drive workforce planning aligned with business priorities, strengthen leadership pipelines, support succession planning, and lead initiatives focused on organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. His responsibilities will also include leveraging HR analytics to improve decision-making and supporting transformational people programs across the business.

Before joining Amazon, Bishnoi served as HR Business Partner at Adani Group, where he managed HR strategy across diverse corporate functions, including Corporate Communications, Branding, Media, Sports, ESG, Information Technology, Agriculture, and Business Development. During his tenure, he led talent acquisition, performance management, leadership hiring, workforce planning, and succession initiatives for a large employee base.

As organizations continue to prioritize leadership development, employee experience, and data-driven people practices, strategic HR business partners are playing an increasingly critical role in aligning talent strategies with business outcomes. Amazon’s decision to elevate Bishnoi underscores its commitment to recognizing internal talent and strengthening its people leadership.
