Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has appointed Poly Singh Arora as its Chief People Officer, reinforcing its leadership team as the company accelerates its renewable energy expansion and strengthens its people strategy.

In her new role, Arora will lead AGEL’s people and culture agenda, focusing on talent management, organisational transformation, leadership development, workforce planning, employee engagement, and building a high-performance culture that supports the company’s long-term business and sustainability ambitions.

Arora brings more than 23 years of experience in human resources across aviation, global services, telecommunications, and corporate leadership. Before joining AGEL, she served as Head – Human Resources at Mumbai International Airport Limited (CSMIA), where she partnered with senior leadership to drive HR transformation, organisational capability, and strategic workforce initiatives. She was previously General Manager – Human Resources at the airport operator.

Earlier in her career, Arora spent nearly six years at VFS Global, progressing to Regional HR Head – South Asia, where she led HR strategy, leadership development, employee engagement, and workforce planning across multiple markets. She also held several HR leadership roles at Vodafone India, gaining extensive experience in business partnering, recruitment, HR operations, performance management, rewards, and governance. She began her HR career with Excel Callnet.

Her appointment comes as Adani Green Energy continues its rapid expansion, having crossed significant renewable energy capacity milestones while targeting substantial future growth. With Poly Singh Arora leading the people function, the company aims to build a future-ready workforce that supports its vision of becoming a global leader in clean energy.
