SolarSquare Raises $53 Million in Series C Funding

Residential solar solutions provider SolarSquare has raised $53 million in a Series C funding round led by B Capital and existing investor Lightspeed, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth journey. The latest investment takes the startup’s total funding to more than $100 million.

The funding round also saw participation from existing investors Elevation Capital, Lowercarbon Capital, Rainmatter by Zerodha, and Good Capital, highlighting continued investor confidence in SolarSquare’s business model and long-term vision for accelerating residential solar adoption in India.

Founded with the goal of making rooftop solar accessible to homeowners, SolarSquare has emerged as one of India’s leading residential solar brands. The company offers end-to-end solar solutions, including design, installation, financing assistance, and maintenance services, helping households transition to clean and sustainable energy sources.

According to the company, the newly raised capital will be deployed to support geographic expansion into new cities, strengthen technology and product capabilities, scale platform operations, and attract top talent across functions. The investment is also expected to help the company enhance customer experience and drive wider adoption of rooftop solar solutions.
