Jindal Steel Appoints Sukhjit S. Pasricha as President & Head – Human Resources

Jindal Steel has appointed Sukhjit S. Pasricha as President & Head – Human Resources, reinforcing its leadership team as the company continues to strengthen its people capabilities and support its long-term growth strategy.

In his new role, Pasricha will lead the company’s human resources function, driving strategic initiatives across talent management, leadership development, organisational transformation, employee engagement, and workforce capability. His appointment comes at a time when Jindal Steel is focused on scaling operations and strengthening organisational excellence to support its expanding business ambitions.

Pasricha brings more than 28 years of experience in corporate and business HR across diverse sectors, including manufacturing, aviation, telecommunications, and financial services. Most recently, he served as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at IndiGo, where he led the airline’s people strategy during a period of significant expansion and transformation. Earlier in his career, he held senior HR leadership positions at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bharti Airtel, Bajaj Finserv, and Spice Communications, building deep expertise in HR strategy, organisational capability, talent management, change management, HR technology, and business partnering.

He began his professional journey with the Vardhman Group in 1995 and holds an MBA in Human Resources from Guru Nanak Dev University. His extensive cross-industry experience is expected to play a key role in strengthening Jindal Steel’s people agenda and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with the company’s future growth plans.
