Share Fabletics, the global activewear brand, is set to launch in India through an exclusive long-term partnership with Reliance Brands Limited (RBL). The partnership marks Fabletics’ entry into the Indian market as the brand looks to tap into the country’s growing demand for activewear and athleisure. Fabletics will debut simultaneously online and offline, with a dedicated India website launching alongside its first mono-brand store at DLF Promenade in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. A second store in Mumbai is expected to follow shortly thereafter, establishing the foundation for the brand’s expansion across the country. Under the partnership, Reliance Brands will lead Fabletics’ development and operations in India through an omnichannel model covering standalone retail stores, e-commerce and experiential brand environments. The strategy will combine Fabletics’ global product and creative proposition with RBL’s experience in building and scaling international brands for Indian consumers. The India assortment will include activewear for both men and women across categories such as training, running, yoga, Pilates and everyday movement. The brand plans to combine performance-focused fabrics with fashion-led colours, silhouettes and designs that can transition from workouts to everyday wear. Founded in Los Angeles in 2013, Fabletics has grown from a digitally native activewear company into a global omnichannel brand with more than 125 retail locations. Its India entry comes as athleisure increasingly becomes part of everyday dressing, particularly among younger consumers. For Reliance Brands, the partnership adds another international activewear label to its growing fashion and lifestyle portfolio. RBL has built partnerships with numerous international brands and uses its understanding of the Indian consumer market to support their local expansion. The Fabletics launch is expected to further intensify competition in India’s activewear market, where global sportswear brands and emerging domestic labels are competing for consumers seeking a combination of performance, comfort and fashion. The partnership gives Fabletics an established retail and digital platform from which to build its presence in the country.
