24th, Jan’26: Zoho Corporation has introduced a new Made-in-India ERP platform aimed at serving manufacturing, distribution, retail, and non-profit businesses. Built by Zoho’s Kumbakonam-based team, the product enters a competitive global market with a focus on AI-driven insights, automation, and end-to-end operational visibility. Designed for mid-sized and growing enterprises, the system integrates core financial and operational workflows into a single platform, helping businesses improve productivity while keeping implementation timelines and ownership costs low

Strengthening India’s ERP Presence on the Global Stage

By entering the ERP space at scale, Zoho aims to challenge established international players by offering a locally engineered solution that aligns with India’s digital growth agenda. The platform offers role-based dashboards, supply chain and asset management, payroll and tax compliance, and omnichannel commerce support, making it a comprehensive and scalable option for modern businesses.

Kumbakonam Becomes a Strategic Talent Hub

The ERP launch is closely linked to Zoho’s long-term vision of decentralizing talent and fostering rural innovation. As part of this strategy, the company plans to expand its Kumbakonam workforce from 200 to nearly 2,000 employees as the product reaches global markets. Zoho views the region as a model for sustainable talent development, where investments in education, upskilling, and employment can enable local communities to participate in the high-tech economy.

Driving Tech Growth Through Local Impact

The initiative reflects Zoho’s commitment to building homegrown technology that serves global users while strengthening India’s manufacturing and digital capabilities. By anchoring a core product in a rural talent hub, Zoho is signaling that world-class enterprise software can be built and scaled from beyond metro cities. With the new ERP platform in place, Zoho is positioning itself as a serious contender in the enterprise solutions market and reinforcing its belief that innovation and inclusivity can grow together within India’s emerging tech landscape.
