Fashion and lifestyle brand SNITCH has appointed Nihal Peters as Vice President – Design & Creative, reinforcing its focus on design excellence and brand differentiation as it scales its presence.
Peters brings close to two decades of experience in the fashion and retail industry, with strong expertise in design leadership, product development, merchandising and trend forecasting across categories including men’s wear, women’s wear and accessories.
Prior to joining SNITCH, he was associated with BEWAKOOF®, where he served as Assistant Vice President – Design and Product Development. In this role, he led creative direction and product innovation across multiple categories, playing a key role in strengthening the brand’s identity and overall design strategy.
Over the years, he has held significant roles at leading organisations such as Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail (Pantaloons), Lifestyle International, Reliance Retail, Universal Sportsbiz, Future Lifestyle Fashions, Industree Crafts Foundation and Primus Retail, building a well-rounded understanding of the apparel and retail ecosystem.
He began his career with Pantaloon Retail India Ltd and The LYCRA Company, where he developed a strong foundation in fashion design and visual merchandising, shaping his expertise in end-to-end product development.
In his new role at SNITCH, Peters will lead the brand’s design and creative vision, focusing on elevating brand identity, driving innovation and creating distinctive collections that resonate with evolving consumer preferences.
His appointment comes at a time when fashion brands are increasingly investing in strong creative leadership to differentiate in a highly competitive and fast-moving market, where speed, design innovation and brand storytelling play a critical role.
With Peters on board, SNITCH aims to further strengthen its design capabilities, product innovation and creative direction, positioning itself for the next phase of growth in the fashion and D2C space.
