Share Pidilite Industries Limited has appointed Sahdev Bhatt as its new Head – Talent Acquisition, strengthening its HR leadership as the company continues to build scale across businesses. Bhatt brings nearly two decades of diverse HR and talent acquisition experience across leading Indian and global organisations. Most recently, he served as Senior Director & Head – Talent Acquisition (SCO) at DP World, where he led the Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence and managed a 15+ member in-house and RPO team. During his tenure, he reduced hiring turnaround time significantly and closed over 450 positions within eight months, while driving initiatives focused on diversity hiring, veterans’ recruitment and employer branding. Prior to DP World, Bhatt was Head – Talent Acquisition at ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, where he led a 40+ member team across lateral, leadership and campus hiring. He implemented process efficiencies, reduced talent acquisition costs, strengthened employer branding and streamlined hiring frameworks across the organisation. He has also held senior HR leadership roles at Tata Motors, where he led end-to-end lateral and leadership hiring, transitioned the organisation to an RPO-based model and reduced hiring turnaround time substantially. His earlier assignments include strategic HR roles at Adani Power and Pipavav Shipyard, where he worked across leadership hiring, HR analytics, workforce planning and employee engagement initiatives. With deep expertise in large-scale hiring, employer branding, HR transformation and process optimisation, Bhatt’s appointment underscores Pidilite’s focus on strengthening its talent engine to support sustained growth. His experience in building scalable, high-performance talent acquisition systems is expected to play a key role in aligning people strategy with business expansion objectives.
