Sirigiri announced the appointment on LinkedIn, expressing enthusiasm about beginning her new role with the US-headquartered cybersecurity major. Her move brings over 18 years of experience in human resources across technology, cybersecurity and enterprise software companies to Palo Alto Networks’ India operations.

She joins from CyberArk, where she most recently served as Director – HR for India. During her tenure, she also held the position of Senior Human Resources Manager, leading talent strategy and key people initiatives in the fast-evolving cybersecurity space.

Prior to CyberArk, Sirigiri held senior HR and operations leadership roles at ORBCOMM, including Director – HR and Operations and Senior Director – Human Resources. Earlier in her career, she worked with organisations such as Kofax, Polaris Software Lab, BostonLogix India, Vensiti Inc and a2HR Consultants, building experience across enterprise technology environments.

An MBA graduate from Osmania University, Sirigiri has built a career focused on workforce scaling, organisational effectiveness and aligning people strategy with business expansion.

Strengthening India Leadership

Headquartered in California, Palo Alto Networks has been steadily expanding its footprint in India, which serves as a strategic hub for engineering, operations and enterprise support. The appointment comes at a time when cybersecurity companies are navigating rapid shifts driven by AI-powered security tools, cloud transformation and increasing regulatory scrutiny.

While the company has not publicly outlined Sirigiri’s immediate mandate, HR leadership roles within global cybersecurity firms typically focus on workforce expansion, leadership development, capability building and organisational integration.

With cyber threats growing more complex and demand for digital security intensifying, talent acquisition and retention remain critical priorities across the sector. Sirigiri’s background in cybersecurity-focused organisations positions her to align HR strategy closely with Palo Alto Networks’ growth ambitions in India.

Her appointment signals the company’s continued investment in strengthening local leadership and building sustainable talent capabilities to support long-term operations in the region.
