Kwality Wall’s India Appoints Sonali Rajpurohit as Head of Human Resources

Kwality Wall’s (India) Limited has announced the appointment of Sonali Rajpurohit as Head of Human Resources, marking a significant leadership move following the company’s demerger from Hindustan Unilever Limited. The appointment comes as the ice cream major begins operations as an independent organisation. 

In her new role, Rajpurohit will spearhead KWIL’s people and culture strategy, with responsibility for talent management, employee engagement, HR business partnering, and the development of scalable people practices aligned with the company’s long-term growth ambitions. 

Rajpurohit brings close to two years of experience within the Unilever ecosystem, most recently serving as HR Lead for the Ice Cream business in India, where she played a key role in supporting business transformation and organisational priorities. Her broader career spans HR leadership roles at udaan.com, Reliance Industries, and AkzoNobel, giving her a strong foundation across both traditional and new-age enterprises. 

An XLRI Jamshedpur alumna, Rajpurohit will work closely with KWIL’s leadership team to build a strong organisational framework and culture as the company charts its next phase of growth as a standalone entity.
