JSW Paints Elevates Ritika Chopra to CHRO

JSW Paints has elevated Ritika Chopra as Chief Human Resources Officer for both JSW Paints and Dulux, marking a key leadership move following the integration of Akzo Nobel India Limited.

Chopra, who joined JSW Paints in December 2024 as Head of Human Resources, steps into the expanded CHRO role at a critical juncture for the company. The elevation comes as JSW Paints looks to integrate operations and unlock synergies after bringing Dulux into its portfolio.

Announcing the development, Chopra expressed enthusiasm about leading the people function for the combined entity, highlighting the opportunity to blend Dulux’s legacy with JSW’s growth momentum to create stronger value for customers and stakeholders.

With around 13 years of experience in human resources, Chopra brings a diverse background spanning e-commerce, retail, and fashion. Prior to joining JSW Paints, she held roles at Purplle and Amazon, where she gained exposure to fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Her earlier experience includes stints at Pantaloons and Madura Fashion & Lifestyle, where she worked on HR strategy, talent management, and organisational development within large retail ecosystems.

In her new role, Chopra will be responsible for shaping the people strategy for the combined organisation, with a focus on integration, culture building, leadership development, and workforce alignment. As JSW Paints strengthens its position in the competitive paints market, HR leadership is expected to play a critical role in driving organisational cohesion and execution.

Her appointment reflects a broader trend across India Inc., where companies are elevating internal talent to leadership roles to ensure continuity and accelerate transformation during periods of strategic change.

Chopra holds an MBA in Human Resources from the Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, and is expected to play a key role in building a unified, high-performance culture across the JSW Paints and Dulux businesses.
