Share Jio-bp has appointed Sareeta Bhatikar as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), reinforcing its leadership team as the company advances into its next phase of growth and transformation in India’s evolving mobility landscape. Bhatikar brings more than 20 years of experience in shaping people strategy, leading large-scale HR transformation initiatives, and driving cultural integration across diverse organisations. In her new role, she will head the HR function at Jio-bp, with a mandate to strengthen organisational capability, enhance talent frameworks, and align the company’s people priorities with its ambitious strategic roadmap. She joins Jio-bp from HDFC Life, where she served as Head of Human Resources for over six years. During her tenure, she led the people strategy for a workforce of more than 40,000 employees and played a key role in steering the HR transformation journey during the merger with Exide Life. Announcing her move, Bhatikar expressed excitement about joining Jio-bp at a time when the company is “reimagining and revolutionising mobility” in India through future-ready fuels, electric mobility solutions, customer-first innovations, aviation fuels, and doorstep delivery services. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles at Cipla, Vodafone, A.P. Moller–Maersk, Unilever, and LTI (Larsen & Toubro Infotech), gaining extensive experience across talent management, employee relations, HR transformation, and change management. Academically, Bhatikar holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from Welingkar Institute of Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from R.A. Podar College of Commerce and Economics. She is also a qualified cost accountant from ICWAI, holds an LLB from VPM Thane College, and a postgraduate diploma in comparative methodology from the University of Mumbai. Her appointment underscores Jio-bp’s commitment to building a future-ready workforce that supports innovation, scale, sustainability, and customer-centric growth.
