Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has elevated Pavanjit S Bedi to the role of Chief Marketing Officer – Foods. He announced the development through a LinkedIn update, highlighting his enthusiasm for leading one of the company’s most significant portfolios in India.

Commenting on the new responsibility, Bedi described the Foods business as a portfolio that brings together cultural relevance, scale, and strong potential for reinvention. He emphasised that as consumer preferences continue to evolve, the priority will be to nurture brands that retain consumer trust while adapting to emerging trends and changing lifestyles.

Bedi has been associated with Unilever for over two decades. Prior to this elevation, he served as Global Brand Vice President, a role he held for more than four years. During that tenure, he led the global rebranding and transformation of Glow & Lovely, steering its repositioning across markets.

Over the course of his career, Bedi has built extensive experience within the Beauty & Personal Care category, managing marquee brands such as Dove, Pears, Lifebuoy, and Pond’s across India, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. His cross-market exposure and brand-building expertise are expected to play a key role in shaping the future trajectory of HUL’s Foods portfolio.
