Annu Gupta has taken over as Chief Executive Officer – International Business at Haldiram Snacks Food Pvt. Ltd, marking a significant leadership addition as the company sharpens its global ambitions. He transitions into the role after a 13-year tenure at Britannia Industries, where he most recently led the international business vertical.

At Haldiram’s, Gupta will spearhead operations across overseas markets, focusing on accelerating growth, enhancing profitability and strengthening the brand’s presence worldwide. Over the years, he has built deep expertise in scaling businesses across the Middle East, Africa and other global regions, consistently driving sustainable expansion and operational efficiency.

He described his time at Britannia as transformative and expressed enthusiasm about taking on the mandate of expanding Haldiram’s international footprint. Before his long stint at Britannia, Gupta held senior leadership roles across multiple organisations including TGI Nigeria, IFFCO, Watanmal Group, Dabur India Limited, Colgate-Palmolive, Asian Paints and Unilever. He began his professional career as an Area Manager at Asian Paints in 1998.

With more than two decades of experience in the FMCG sector, Gupta brings strong capabilities in international market development, strategic execution, consumer insights and performance optimisation. His appointment signals Haldiram’s intent to deepen its global reach and build a stronger resonance with consumers across geographies.
