Godrej Properties Appoints Abhimanyu Rathore as Mumbai HR Head

Godrej Properties has appointed Abhimanyu to head the people agenda for its Mumbai Zone, one of the organisation’s most strategically important markets. In his new role, he will align talent priorities with business growth, strengthen leadership capability, and foster a high-performance culture across the region. 

Abhimanyu joins after more than five years at Tata Consumer Products, where he most recently served as Director – HR for the Ready to Drink business. During his time there, he worked across multiple strategic portfolios including sales, global digital, finance, marketing and integrated functions. As Associate Director – Sales HR, he designed and executed a wide-ranging sales talent agenda, enabling structured career movements, focused development interventions and stronger diversity and inclusion outcomes. He also partnered with global leaders to drive cultural transformation, elevate performance practices and build leadership depth. 

Earlier, he held HR Business Partner assignments at VOIS, Bharti Airtel and Siemens, where he supported large, matrixed teams and contributed to workforce and change initiatives. He began his professional journey with Tata Consultancy Services and later earned an MBA in Human Resource Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, further strengthening his grounding in strategic HR leadership. 

With experience spanning transformation, change management and talent strategy, his appointment underlines the company’s continued investment in building agile, future-ready teams capable of supporting rapid urban growth and evolving customer expectations.
